A920 - Try & Compare
Sprint just informed me they will be sending me a brand new Samsung A920 phone to test and review for a few months. Supposedly, the phone has commercial-free streaming radio stations, Instant Messenger capabilities (with AOL Instant Messenger (AIM), MSN Messenger, and Yahoo! Messenger), live TV broadcasts, and EV-DO web browsing. The EV-DO is something I am very interested in since I do a lot of web surfing on the Treo 650.
Over the next few months, I'll be comparing the phone and the experience it provides to the Treo 650. It will be difficult to get used to a phone without a full-blown keyboard, but I'll let you know how it goes.
Just as a disclaimer, Sprint is giving me the phone and 6 months of service with it. At the end of the 6 months, I have the option to continue service but pay for it. No money exchanged hands so I'll be able to give you a fair and accurate accounting of the phone and how it stacks up.

It looks like anyone can sign up to be a Sprint Developper. If you're not one already, maybe you can get more goodies by boing here:

Hope that helps.
